Deposits may only be placed after receiving approval. Deposits submitted without prior approval may be refunded and the reservation canceled.
REGISTRATION & CONTRACTS
Please review our purchase contract before placing a deposit.
Unless otherwise negotiated in writing prior to purchase, all puppies are sold on Limited Registration (pet homes only). Full Registration (breeding rights) is available only to approved homes and must be arranged before a deposit is placed.
Some of our top prospects may be placed in approved guardianship homes. Guardianship placements have additional contractual requirements that prospective guardians should review before applying.
DEPOSIT POLICY
All deposits are non-refundable except when Muddy Mastiffs is unable to provide a puppy matching the terms of the reservation or otherwise elects not to complete the placement.
A deposit reserves your place on our waiting list and your preference for a particular sex and, when possible, color. A deposit does not reserve a specific puppy.
Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price of your puppy.
While we will make every reasonable effort to match requested sex and color preferences, no specific sex, color, markings, size, temperament, show potential, breeding potential, or individual puppy can be guaranteed.
PUPPY SELECTION
Puppies are evaluated as they mature. Because we retain breeding and show prospects, final puppy selections are not made immediately after birth.
For example, a litter may contain multiple puppies of the same sex and color. We may not determine which puppies will remain available until approximately six (6) weeks of age, after evaluations have been completed.
CURRENT LITTER NOTICE
For our current litters, we have four female puppies under evaluation.
At this time, we anticipate that two of these females will be available to pet homes and that two may be retained for our breeding program or placed in approved guardianship homes.
Because our evaluations are not complete, we do not yet know which specific puppies will be available. As a result, we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular color, markings, or individual puppy at this time.
Puppies will be evaluated as they mature, and final decisions regarding which puppies will be retained and which puppies will be available are expected to be made at approximately six (6) weeks of age.
By placing a deposit, Buyer acknowledges that they are reserving a place in line for an available puppy matching their requested sex and, when possible, color preference, but not a specific puppy.
MUDDY MASTIFFS BREEDER RESERVATION
Muddy Mastiffs reserves the right to retain any puppy from any litter for show, breeding, evaluation, or guardianship placement.
If we choose to retain a puppy that would otherwise have been offered to you, we will either:
• Offer another available puppy from the current litter or a future litter, or
• Refund your deposit in full.
In the event a reserved puppy becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, death, breeder evaluation, or any other circumstance beyond our control, Buyer may transfer the deposit to a future litter or request a full refund.
PICKUP REQUIREMENTS
Puppies are expected to be picked up at eight (8) weeks of age unless other arrangements have been approved in advance.
Puppies must be picked up within seven (7) days of becoming available unless other arrangements have been approved in writing.
If a puppy has not been picked up by nine (9) weeks of age and no prior arrangements have been approved, Muddy Mastiffs reserves the right to cancel the sale, place the puppy with another family, and retain the deposit.
RIGHT TO REFUSE A SALE
Muddy Mastiffs reserves the right to refuse or cancel any sale if we determine that the placement is not in the best interest of the puppy.
In such cases, all monies paid by the Buyer will be refunded in full.
By placing a deposit, Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these policies and understands that placing a deposit constitutes agreement to the terms outlined above.
